About us

Our origin story

Three friends & coworkers. One shared obsession with Solana. And a gap in the ecosystem that needed filling.

How It Started

It began with a comment at Solana Breakpoint 2025. A prominent thought leader, someone who had migrated from Ethereum, pointed out something that everyone felt but nobody had addressed: there was no “SheFi for Solana.”

No dedicated community where women building on Solana could find each other. No space to share opportunities, ask questions, or just exist in the ecosystem without being the only woman in the room.

So three friends and coworkers, Vanina, Ginevra, and Renata, decided to build it themselves. What started as a Telegram group grew to over 150 active members in less than two months. Not because of a marketing budget or a token incentive, but because the community was overdue.

Today, Sol Sisters is the go-to community for 320+ women in the Solana ecosystem. We host IRL meetups, run educational workshops, connect members to career opportunities, and provide the kind of peer support that turns contributors into leaders.

We're starting small, but we're building strong. And we're just getting started.

Our Mission

We want to create a safe, supportive space where women contributing to the Solana ecosystem can build, grow, and thrive together.

Our Vision

We are striving to become the go-to community for women in Solana: the first place they look for connections, opportunities, and support.

The Sol Mothers

Vanina Ivanova

Vanina Ivanova

Co-Founder

Crypto OG with 10 years in strategic Web3 marketing. Ethereum girl converted to Solana. Came for the money, stayed for the vibes.

Spent a decade helping crypto projects grow, from pre-seed narratives to ecosystem-wide campaigns. She's seen every cycle, survived every bear market, and built the kind of network that only comes from years of shipping. With Sol Sisters, she's channeling that experience into something bigger: a community that gives women the same unfair advantage that the boys' clubs have had for years.

Ginevra Maggi

Ginevra Maggi

Co-Founder

Crypto marketer with 5 years in growth and content strategies. 2+ years deep in Solana. Came for the tech, stayed for the culture.

Ginevra brings a sharp eye for growth and a deep understanding of what makes crypto communities tick. From content strategy to campaign execution, she's the engine behind some of the most effective growth plays in the Solana ecosystem. At Sol Sisters, she's focused on making sure every workshop, webinar, and collaboration actually moves the needle for members.

Renata Almeida

Renata Almeida

Co-Founder

Designer with 8+ years of helping brands shape their story through graphic design and UX/UI that just works.

Renata is the reason Sol Sisters looks as good as it feels. With nearly a decade of design experience across Web2 and Web3, she understands that community branding is about more than logos: it's about creating a visual identity that makes people feel like they belong. Every touchpoint of Sol Sisters, from the website to the swag, carries her signature attention to detail.

Our Values

Substance Over Hype

We're not here for clout. We're here to build real skills, real connections, and real careers in the Solana ecosystem.

Women Supporting Women

The crypto industry still has a gender gap. We're not waiting for someone else to fix it. We're building the infrastructure ourselves.

Community First, Always

Every decision we make, from sponsorships to event formats, starts with one question: does this serve our members?

Solana Native

We're not chain-agnostic. We're Solana believers. The speed, the culture, the community: it's where we build and where we belong.
